My Billionaire Zoo Tier List & Pet Income Comparison

What each pet costs and what it pays, taken from creator recordings published on August 15, September 1, and October 14, 2026. Rows are dated readings, not today's shop values. Checked October 14, 2026.

What this comparison can and cannot decide

What it answers: which pets have actually been seen in the game, the roll odds or pity counter shown next to them, the price the pedestal asked, and the income the pen paid at that moment.

Where the numbers come from: three creator recordings, published August 15, September 1, and October 14, 2026. The October recording is the only one made after the game's October 12, 2026 update, so it is the closest thing here to the current build.

What it will not do: hand out S, A, and B ranks. A rank letter hides the cost and the payout, which are the two facts a purchase decision needs. The table prints both and lets your own cash rate sort them.

A rarity label is not a cash rate: "Mythical" describes how rare a roll is, not what the pet pays per second, and a 0.000286% roll can sit unbought on the pedestal for the whole session because the price is $65T.

Observed list

Pets read off the screen, with the numbers shown at the time

Filter by where the pet comes from. Every row carries the recording it was read from, so a value can be rechecked instead of trusted.

Pets whose name, source, and at least one number were read off the screen in a dated creator recording.

Per-pet notes from those sessions
  • Dog: Sell price $15. The tutorial pet in both early sessions.
  • Chicken: Sell price $75. Five copies are the cheapest Merge input seen.
  • Owl: Sell price $30. The player complained this tier keeps filling the pedestals.
  • Koala: Sell price $50. Also the pet that carried the Volcano mutation in the Aug session.
  • Parrot: Took a Rain mutation in the Oct session.
  • Bat: Sell price $100.
  • Hamster: The Aug session could not afford it at $15K; the Oct session shows it paying $350/s.
  • Capybara: Sell price $5K. Pairs with Merge: five Capybara plus 50 Gems produced a gold pet at $400/s.
  • Turtle: Sell price $1.5K.
  • Lizard: Named as a price that arrives long before the cash to buy it.
  • Goat: Five Goat are the Fuse Machine input for Cerberus.
  • Alligator: Both sessions show the full-screen rarity animation. The Aug session lost one to Auto Roll.
  • Bear: Three Bear are the Fuse Machine input for Qilin.
  • Horse: The rarity animation rolls a counter up to the final number.
  • Triceratops: Occupies a very large plot, which crowds the pen.
  • Snaketrio: Also listed as the day-7 daily reward pet.
  • Trexasaur: The player bought it with Robux instead of game cash.
  • Cat: Paid Robux to spin; the model was far larger than the roll pets.
  • Snail: Gem Shop pets are bought with Gems, not cash.
  • Ostrich: Sold beside Snail and Lion in the same shop.
  • Lion: The strongest Gem Shop entry seen so far. It is not a rollable apex exhibit.
  • Gold Chicken: The player judged the gold upgrade not worth 50 Gems at this tier.
  • Gold Capybara: Doubled the $200/s base Capybara in the same session.
  • Cerberus: Made in the offline Fuse Machine. The recipe panel was shown; the fuse itself was never started on screen.
  • Qilin: Same panel, longer timer. Also unstarted on screen.

How long until you can buy it

A Player Sandbox estimate: put in the cash you hold and the cash per second your own pen is paying, and this divides the gap by your own rate. The prices are dated readings, not today's shop values.

$5,000 short — about 1 min at your current rate.

$5,000 recorded for Capybara on Oct 14, 2026 recording. Player Sandbox reading, not an official constant.

Reading rule 1

Income depends on the player's multiplier

The same Capybara reading was $200/s in two different sessions, while a Dog read $10/s and a Koala $12/s in another. Those pens were running different cash multipliers, so treat every income cell as a sample and read your own pen's label instead.

Reading rule 2

Odds and pity counters are not prices

A pet listed at 1 in 120 and a pet listed at 1 in 1,500 can ask for $1M and $300M respectively. Rarity sets how long the wait is; the price tag decides whether you can take it when it lands.

Reading rule 3

Keep the cash before you roll

A pedestal pet stays only while it is not replaced. A session that hit an Epic Alligator without $1M ready lost it on the next roll — see how the Auto Roll filter overwrites pedestals.

Coverage gap

Pets no checked recording has shown yet

Five names that earlier versions of this page ranked cannot be traced to any screen in any checked recording.

Zebra, Giraffe, Elephant, Monkey, and Rabbit do not appear in the August 15, September 1, or October 14 recordings, and no creator-owned page lists them either. They are left out of the table rather than ranked on reputation.

That is an absence of evidence rather than a verdict on the game: a partial recording cannot prove a pet is missing. The list the game itself keeps is the in-game Index, which also pays a permanent cash bonus for filling it — 5 pets for +5% cash, 10 for +10%, and 20 for +15% in the October session. See the animal roster on the wiki hub for what each recording did show.

Buying order

How to spend on pets without stalling your zoo

Three decisions that come up in every session, in the order they come up.

1. Buy the payout, not the label

A Cheap roll that pays every second beats a Mythical you cannot afford to lift off the pedestal. Read the price tag before the rarity banner.

2. Raise the rate before the price

Cash Boost, extra roll slots, luck, and the paid multiplier passes change how fast every pen pays. The cash rate levers are what make the expensive rows buyable.

3. Get the second storey before the apex pet

Large models like Triceratops crowd a single pen. The floor unlock costs are 100 and 5,000 rebirth points, which is usually cheaper than the pet you were saving for.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about pet rankings

What this comparison covers, what it refuses to guess, and how the numbers should be read.

Is there an official My Billionaire Zoo tier list?

No. The creator publishes no ranking, no complete pet list, and no income table. Any tier list you find for this game, including this page, is built from what someone watched or played.

Why is this page a comparison table instead of S, A, B tiers?

A rank letter hides the two numbers that decide the purchase: what the pet costs and what it pays. The table shows the recorded price and income per pet, and the estimate below turns them into time, so you can rank them against your own zoo instead of against a letter.

Do the income numbers apply to my zoo?

No. Cash per second depends on the cash multiplier that player had at the time, so a $200/s reading is not a fixed value for that animal. Compare the order of magnitude, then read your own pet's rate off its own label in the pen.

Are Zebra, Giraffe, Elephant, Monkey, and Rabbit in the game?

No recording checked so far has shown any of those five on screen, so this page does not rank them. That is an absence of evidence, not proof they are missing: open the in-game Index and read the list the game itself keeps.

Why do some rows say the price was not read?

The recordings showed those pets placed and paying, but never showed their pedestal price. A blank cell is honest; a filled-in guess would be copied by players as fact.

What is the best pet to buy first?

The one whose price your current cash per second clears soonest at a rate you can read on its own label. Early on that is a cheap roll like a Dog or Chicken; saving for a Goat at $140K while your pen pays $200/s is a long wait.
