Read the requirement on the Floors menu itself
The Floors button sits on the left of the plot screen and lists each storey with its own price. Floor 1 reads as unlocked; the later storeys show the rebirth points they want on the button.
Each storey is bought with rebirth points, which is the same currency the Upgrade board spends. Here are the two prices that were on screen and the one storey nobody has shown yet. Checked October 14, 2026.
| Storey | Price on the menu | What a recording showed |
|---|---|---|
| Floor 1 | Unlocked from the start | The starting plot with its pens |
| Floor 2 | 100 rebirth points | Unlocked once on screen: a second storey with stairs, used for a Mythical Snaketrio |
| Floor 3 | 5,000 rebirth points | Never unlocked in any recording, so its contents stay unknown |
One currency, two sinks: the Floors menu and the Upgrade board spend the same rebirth points. At 100 points, Floor 2 costs about ten times what Auto Roll costs on the board, and the board has five other upgrades competing for the same balance.
Five steps. The decision step is the one that costs you something either way.
The Floors button sits on the left of the plot screen and lists each storey with its own price. Floor 1 reads as unlocked; the later storeys show the rebirth points they want on the button.
Rebirth points are the currency the rebirth reset pays out. The Floors menu and the Upgrades board spend the same pool, so the balance on screen is what decides which purchase is available right now.
Every point spent on a floor is a point not spent on Cash Boost, Multi Roll, Luck Boost, Gems Per Min, Rebirth Buttons, or Auto Roll. A storey buys space; the board buys rate.
In the August 15, 2026 recording, spending 100 rebirth points on Floor 2 raised a second storey with a staircase, and the player placed a Mythical Snaketrio on the upper display area.
Floor 3 asked for 5,000 rebirth points in the same menu. That is fifty times the Floor 2 price, and no recording has shown what sits behind it.
Space and rate are the two different things the two menus sell.
Buy the storey when space is the limit: large models crowd a single plot. A Triceratops read $2B with a 0.0286% roll in the September 1, 2026 recording and occupied a very large area, which pushes out cheaper earners on the ground floor.
Buy the upgrade when rate is the limit: a pen that cannot fill its floor is not short of room. Cash Boost, Multi Roll, Luck Boost, and Gems Per Min change what the pets you already own produce.
The tie-breaker is the reset cycle: floors are bought once and stay; the Upgrade board is where every future rebirth point also wants to go. If the next rebirth is close, read the Floors menu again after it.
Four open questions, printed as open rather than answered from another zoo game's playbook.
Floor 3 contents: unknown. Reaching 5,000 rebirth points takes a long session and no checked recording got there.
What a storey changes numerically: no recording shows a pen on the second floor paying a different rate for the same pet, so nothing here claims a floor bonus.
Whether higher storeys add slots or space only: the second storey was used as a display area for a large pet, which is the only visible use so far.
Where to confirm: the Floors menu on your own plot is the authority for both the price and what a purchased storey looks like in the current build.
Prices, the trade-off against upgrades, and what happens to a floor after a rebirth.
Spend 100 rebirth points in the Floors menu. Rebirth points come from the rebirth reset, and the same points buy the upgrades on the Upgrade board, so the cost is really what you gave up on the board.
The Floors menu listed 5,000 rebirth points for Floor 3 in the August 15, September 1, and October 14, 2026 recordings. That is fifty times the Floor 2 price.
Unknown. No checked recording ever reached 5,000 rebirth points or unlocked Floor 3, so this page prints the price and stops there rather than describing a storey nobody has shown.
They buy different things. A storey adds placeable space, which matters once large models like a Triceratops fill the ground plot. The Upgrade board raises the cash per second that every pet already placed pays. Unlock the storey when space, not rate, is what is blocking you.
No recording shows a floor being taken away by a rebirth. The Floors menu kept Floor 1 marked as unlocked across many resets in the same August 15, 2026 session, which is the only evidence this page has for that claim.
The menu showed Floor 1, Floor 2, and Floor 3. Whether a further storey exists above the third was not shown, because the menu was never scrolled past it on screen.
The 10-point upgrade your rebirth points also buy.
